Cancelling your plan
You can cancel any subscription at any time. Your services remain active until the end of the current billing period, you won't be charged again after that.
How to cancel
- Go to Billing in the left sidebar
- Find the subscription you want to cancel
- Click Manage on the subscription card, or go directly to Billing → Subscriptions → [your plan]
- In the Actions panel, click Cancel
- You'll see the cancel confirmation: "Your plan stays active until {date}. No further charges after that."
- Select an optional reason and click Confirm cancellation
What happens after cancellation
- Your subscription status changes to show a cancellation scheduled notice
- Services (websites, mailboxes, etc.) continue running until the period end date
- No further charges are made
- Your data is retained for 30 days after the period ends before being permanently deleted
Changing your mind
If you cancel and then change your mind, you can reactivate the subscription before the period ends. The Actions panel will show a "Changed your mind?" option while the cancellation is pending.
Pausing instead of cancelling
If you need to stop billing temporarily (holiday, project pause, budget hold), consider pausing instead of cancelling:
- In the Actions panel, click Pause
- Choose 1, 2, or 3 months
- The confirmation reads: "Your services stay active during the pause. No invoices are generated. Billing resumes automatically on the date you choose."
Pausing keeps your data and configuration intact. Billing resumes automatically, you don't need to manually reactivate.
What gets deleted after cancellation
After the subscription period ends and the 30-day retention window closes:
- Websites and their files are deleted
- Databases are deleted
- Mailboxes are deleted
- Domain registrations are not deleted (domains are billed separately)
Export any important data before your subscription ends. Contact support if you need help with data export.
