Setting Up Email on iPhone and Android
You can access your Kapsule email on any smartphone using IMAP. This guide covers setup for the built-in iOS Mail app and the Gmail app on Android.
Your IMAP and SMTP Settings

Your mailbox password is set when you create the mailbox in KPanel. It is separate from your KPanel account password. You can reset it under Mailboxes in KPanel.
Setting Up on iPhone (iOS Mail)
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Scroll down and tap Mail, then Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- Choose Other, then Add Mail Account
- Enter your name, email address, password, and a description
- Tap Next
- Select IMAP at the top
- Under Incoming Mail Server, enter:

- Password: your mailbox password

- Under Outgoing Mail Server, enter the same host name, username, and password
- Tap Next, then Save
If iOS asks you to confirm that the certificate is trusted, tap Accept. This is expected on first setup.
Setting Up on Android (Gmail App)
- Open the Gmail app
- Tap your profile picture in the top right, then Add another account
- Choose Other
- Enter your Kapsule email address and tap Next
- Choose Personal (IMAP)
- Enter your mailbox password and tap Next
- For incoming server settings, enter:

Troubleshooting
"Cannot connect to server" errors
Double-check that you have entered mail.kapsulecloud.com exactly, with the correct ports (993 for IMAP, 465 for SMTP).
Authentication failed Make sure you are using your full email address as the username, and the mailbox password rather than your KPanel login password.
